Join the New Jersey Chapter of your professional body, the American College of Nurse Midwives.

Increase your knowledge about issues facing Certified Nurse-Midwifes such as:

  • prescription writing
  • professional liability insurance
  • peer review
  • consumer and midwifery rights
In addition our local chapter help to provide you with a professional community
  • Provide contact with other CNM's within the state.
  • Allow for exchange of opinions when making decisions affecting the future of CNM's.
  • Obtain input about national midwifery issues.
  • It is only $50 to join. Student rate is $20.
Persons who are interested in midwifery but are not CNM/CM's are welcome to join our chapter as "Friends of the College".

Membership meetings, held at least four times a year, consist of dinner, continuing education, and business portion. Meeting schedule and minutes are available on the Chapter Website at www.newjerseymidwife.org to all paid chapter members through the Members Only section of the website. Let your voice be heard! Chapter membership fees are:
Active--$50;
Associate, retired, or inactive--$20;
First year CNM--$20;
Student Nurse-Midwife--$20;
Friends of the Chapter (CPMs)--$20.
